Halloween Fun

This is one of my favorite table runners from the Disa Design book 'My Runners'. With the spiders and their web plus the pumpkin faces on each end, it make a great decoration for your table during the fall months. I made this one as a birthday gift for my daughter-in-law. Must make another for myself!
I had enough extra yardage to make a smaller table topped in the same fabrics which I am giving away as an 'auction' item for my 50th class reunion later this month. Can't believe how time has flown!

Autumn Splendor

Fall is my favorite time of the year! What better time to design a new necklace? Some of my favorite beads are included in this design - red agate, red adventurine, glass beads in rust, brown and gold accented with opal colored crystals. What are you making in fall colors?

Lake Belle Taine

Wish I were out on the lake today! It's been a week since we have taken a pontoon ride due to the heat and humidty. This is the view of the bay from our deck in Nevis, MN. So calm and peaceful!

Daylily

Here is another favorite in the lily family - a pretty pink day lily in our front garden which is mostly all daylilies of different colors.
Daylilies are one of my favorite flowers as they are so colorful. This yellow one seems to be quite popular all around our area. What is your favorite flower in your garden? I've never had much of a green thumb, but with the help of my husband we have some pretty flowers this year.

Garden with peacock

Hope you are coping with the extreme heat and humidty this summer. We finally had some rain last night that brought in some cooler temps and less humidity. My flowers in the garden seem to humidity, tho. Got this peacock for our garden while at Kansas City Quilt Market at a neat place called River City Marketplace.

This day started out so beautiful, but now the clouds have moved in. I guess we do need the rain for our grass, fields and lakes. Here are some more pictures from Spring Market. See if you know these women in their booth at market!
My husband loves to talk to the ladies. It was great fun having Denise, Kris and Kathy as our 'neighbors'.
